Your child can make a recycled bird feeder

This bird feeder is so cute! A huge “thank you” to my friend Megan who let me use the craft she made with her son. I think it was such a great idea to recycle to make useful crafts. She said that the birds found the feeder within 10 minutes of hanging it up! That’s awesome! When placed in the perfect spot it also serves as entertainment for the kids!

Use wiggly eyes to entertain the kids

Who doesn’t like wiggly eyes? I love using them! My daughter gathered some craft supplies the other day and ended up making me this picture shown above. It inspired me to write an article about using wiggly eyes to entertain the kids. Check out my full article here to get ideas on how to use these inexpensive supplies to entertain the kids!

Create a personal crest with your child

It was one of those rainy days where the kids didn’t know what to do. So, we reached into our Summer Activities Box and found the idea to make their own crest. They were extremely excited and couldn’t wait to get started. Truthfully, my oldest was squealing like a little girl because she was so excited to do this. It was highly comical.

It’s a great way to talk to your child about their likes, dislikes and personality. It was a great bonding time between us as well. They were very proud of their crests because it represented them.  You can find the full instructions here.
