Christmas Cookie Pops

Ingredients:

  • Sugar cookie dough
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Icing (red and white)
  • M&Ms (assorted colors)

Directions:

Using chilled sugar cookie dough, roll into balls using a heaping tablespoon of dough. Push a popsicle stick in the middle of the ball and re-shape. Place it on a cookie sheet. Continue until you have placed 3 rows of cookies (3 on top, 2 in the middle and 3 on the bottom) being sure to leave 3 inches betwen each cookie and stick. Bake according to package directions and let cool 2-3 minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Pipe cookie frosting on the cookies when cool and spread around. Immediately decorate before the icing sets. Decorate them as you please and serve up to the kids and to Santa.
