I use Season Salt almost every time I cook. To save some money, I decided to play around with some ingredients to make my own. I use this heavily when making my own hot wings (along with my favorite wing sauce) and anytime I am using meat. It goes great when baking veggies too! As you can see in my picture, I’m running low. However, a full jar of this has lasted me for a good 6 months. Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 cup table salt
- 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 Tablespoon celery salt
- 1 Tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
Mix it all together and store it in an airtight container. I chose to store mine in a canning jar. You can even store yours in the empty container you used to have the store bought kind in.
